Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan. Nick Carraway, a young newcomer to Long Island, is drawn into their world of obsession, greed and danger. This is a fable – of America, of enchantment and illusions, of a world where love and dreams are pursued and betrayed. The breathtaking glamour and decadent excess of the Jazz Age in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel come to the stage in Simon Levy's adaptation, the only one in North America to be authorized and approved by the Fitzgerald Estate.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest novels of all time, Fitzgerald’s classic tale of excess and moral bankruptcy is brought to imaginative, explosive life by Renegade Theater. Feats of stagecraft combine with dazzling choreography, jazz music, gorgeous costumes and some of the most breathtaking language ever put to paper, all in a production designed to re-introduce you to this most classic of American tales.
