FLAMING GUNS OF THE PURPLE SAGE
By Jane Martin
Directed by Andy Bennett
Big 8, a feisty former rodeo competitor is facing foreclosure on the Wyoming ranch where she rehabilitates injured rodeo cowboys. The arrival of a woman named Shedevil and a one-eyed Ukranian biker named Black Dog ushers in outrageous violence and horror in this shoot 'em up, knock 'em up, cut 'em up comic romp that roasts the cowboy mentality of western writers like Zane Grey.
Showcasing the antic side of this prolific, award winning playwright, this bodacious and macabre cross-over comedy mixes horror and hilarity as it pits the code of the West against contemporary darkness.
October 5-7, 12-14 & 19-21, 2017

This production incorporates a lot of spraying blood. If you are seated in the first two rows on the floor, there is a small possibility you will get hit.
The blood is 100% edible and washable, and will come out of clothes easily if washed with cold water.
If, however, you'd like to avoid the slight risk of getting some on your clothes, please book your tickets somewhere behind the first two rows and out of the splash zone.
